It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Kaleido! Leaping tall buildings with a single bound and faster than a speeding bullet, Kaleido is getting some serious attention and getting it fast. Currently on tour with Seether, who’s promoting the release of ‘Poison the Parish’, Kaleido has their own album ‘Experience’ dropping May 19. From the moment Rock Titan became acquainted with singer Christina Chriss, there was this immediate sense her band would be the next great success story out of their home town that is Detroit Rock City.

When Rock Titan first had the chance to interview Christina (included in this article), it was clear we’d have to see Kaleido LIVE. Little did we know that opportunity would arrive so soon. It just so happened that Kaleido was headed out with Seether on their “Poison the Parish” World Tour, and the first stop would be only an hour away in less than 2 weeks time. So, what was expected to be a brief interview grew into a much more expanded feature. It was one thing to get acquainted with Chriss over a Skype interview. It was quite another experience to hang out with the rest of Kaleido, LIVE at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA as they were just getting ready to open for Seether. After meeting the entire band in person (included in this article), you could immediately tell they possessed that “It” factor which would propel them to greatness. This of course assumed they’d dominate the stage the way they dominate the audio waves with hits like “Trouble in Paradise” and “Die Tryin”.

Once Kaleido hit the stage of the Chameleon Club, all suspicions were confirmed. While we were witnessing the opening act for Seether, it was clear that they had headline talent in spades. If there is any reason, rationale, logic, or justice in the rock music world, then Christina Chriss will be known as one of the next great women of Rock & Roll. That’s no knock on the talent around her. Joey, Cody, Ronnie, and Zach display great camaraderie and are as skilled as any of their peers. It’s their stage presence that sets them apart from the competition, as fans want to be entertained while listening to great music at the same time. Kaleido is the entire package.

Within the last week, Kaleido released their new music video for “Die Tryin” (off new album ‘Experience’). They’re currently on tour with Seether, and the release of their first full length album is only days away. Get up. Everybody’s gonna move their feet. Get down. Everybody’s gonna leave their seat. You gotta lose your mind in Detroit Rock City. Get ready for an EXPERIENCE because that’s the home of Kaleido!
