After years of chasing DJ Alex Kayne down for an interview, Rock Titan TV’s Scotty J finally caught up with him. There isn’t a metal band from the 80’s and 90’s era that toured through NYC without knowing DJ Alex Kayne and L’Amour. As the resident DJ of L’Amour, Kayne introduced bands such as Metallica and Iron Maiden to the Big Apple. Since L’Amour is no more, Kayne spends his time DJ’ing at venues such as The Stone Pony, Stage 48, and B.B. King’s Blues Club. Think you got a vinyl collection that can rival DJ Alex Kayne? Think again.
