As they say timing is everything. The day before the 2019 NFL Divisional Playoffs start, Godsmack releases the Official Music Video “When Legends Rise”. The title track for Godsmack’s 2018 album release features the intensity that is NFL football. Is Sully and company saving the best for last? Come February, Godsmack will continue supporting “When Legends Rise” as they head to Europe. Whether or not any more Official Music Videos will be created in support of this album remains to be seen. But!, if the NFL highlight laden music video is the last we see of Godsmack for this album, they certainly finished it with a bang.

While Godsmack was touring with Shinedown in 2018, Rock Titan Music Television photojournalist Ambler Irby was fortunate enough to snap off some incredible photos! We did our best to grab an interview with the guys, but it just wasn’t meant to be. Regardless, “When Legends Rise” represents lucky number 7 for these Rockers out of Boston, and is a solid album top to bottom.

I, Scotty J, am a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. That being said I can forgive Godsmack for the prominently featured NFL team in their most recent music video. When ashes fall, legends rise! Great lyrics of a great song and Official Music Video. NFL legends are indeed featured in this music video. It’s my sincere believe that Godsmack will be remembered as one of the more legendary bands of their musical genre as well.
