KNOTFEST ROADSHOW 2019 is in the books and Rock Titan photojournalist Out With Ambler was there to catch all the action! This summer tour featured metal juggernauts Slipknot, Gojira, Behemoth, and Volbeat. Ok! Volbeat is more Rock ‘N’ Roll vs metal and is certainly an odd addition to such a lineup. But, Volbeat always puts on a great show and is certain to appease even the heaviest metal heads. See Ambler’s coverage below! Following her most excellent photo galleries are some NEW Slipknot and Volbeat album reviews by Scotty J.

This. This is what music and the music experience is supposed to be.
This. This is what metal and a metal family is supposed to be.
Knotfest Roadshow has been sweeping the land with four of the most entertaining and loved metal bands currently touring. To simply utter the term “Knotfest” garners excitement, so when you bring this caravan across the country, as if some sort of traveling circus, the excitement intensifies!
The whole evening, without exception, was electric. That excitement was palatable amongst the fans which furthered the “metal family” experience I enjoy so much. That coming together of friends from all over to meet up for the show as well as the coming together of people that have never before met, in a sort of brotherhood of worship is how I would describe this Roadshow.
As fans were exiting the venue for the evening I overheard so much praise for each band and even days after I continue to see my friends post on their socials how “epic”, “incredible”, “unforgettable” etc this show was to them.
I would not hesitate to say this tour of Behemoth, Gojira, Volbeat and of course, the mighty SLIPKNOT has been THE tour of the year to attend in the minds of metal and hard rock lovers everywhere. Also, I do not hesitate to say that this Knotfest Roadshow IS the tour of the year from the experience of Out With Ambler.
