Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, North Carolina provided amazing acoustics for the evening as David Coverdale and the boys provided one hell of a great show.

Mixing unforgettable Rock anthems such as “Give Me All Your Love”, “Here I Go Again”, ” This Love”, “Slow an’ Easy” and of course “Still Of The Night” with new offerings such as “Trouble Is Your Middle Name”, “Get Up” and their latest single ” Shut Up And Kiss Me” made for a great set of familiar and unfamiliar. Sure to make those in attendance pick up a copy of 2019’s Flesh And Blood once May 10th rolls around.

I must admit, even though I had been a huge fan in the ’80s, I was a bit apprehensive of how Coverdale would perform all these decades later. Wow. Simply wow. I was blown away by the show that was presented. The energy, the musicianship, the vocal performance and the banter with the crowd made for a wonderful production.

It didn’t seem to matter, old hit or new tune, the audience comprised of teens from the decadent ’80s to Generation Z were on their feet, dancing, singing and applauding.
